Cyrano Dating Agency :- Movie Review

Whenever we see a movie we do have certain outlook about it. Sometimes we want the movie to come out the way we know it would, but at the same time there are moments when we have wanted events and characters to be pragmatic. Watch this movie to know that which category it fits.

We all wish for our problems to be handled out, and solved with an assurance in the form a guarantee. Ever wondered what would happen if your love life too gets that scheme?  So get a taste of it with ‘Cyrano Dating  Agency’.

The movie stars Uhm Tae Woong as Lee Byeong Hoon  who is basically a theater artist who has started this dating agency due to shortage of money, as he actually had intended on opening a theatre.  He has three more associates working for him. Park Shin Hye as Min Young who was a drama student under Byeong Hoon. Cheol Bin is an older associate while Jae Pil is younger member in the group. Now what they do in reality is write scripts and work in secret and you will feel as if they are FBI agents. So after knowing everything about the person they make out plans, practice in the theatre and then our guy is ready to date. Everything is going well in the agency; they are able to maintain their 100%  success rate until one day when Choi Daniel played by Lee Sang Yong arrives. He is in love with this girl whom he met at church Kim Hee Joong played by Lee Min Jung. The story of how he had fallen for her is one that we wouldn’t expect to here once in a while. Moving on what actually caused the problem was Kim Hee Joong is the ex of Byeong Hoon. Ironically we have Lee Min Jung dating actor Lee Byung Hun in real life and not just the movie.

When you hear the name ‘Cyrano’ it hits you, that what does it mean? Now there is a little literature you will come to know while watching this movie.  It actually is a French drama which you can add on to the classic dramas that you have known till date. I myself researched on this classic on ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’ who was immortalized in a play by Edmond Rostand

Everything is going according to plan to set Choi Daniel with Kim Hee Joong, but personal feelings were bound to get in way when Byeong Hoon couldn’t keep his feelings to himself.

But this is where the movie gets interesting. If you’re a Kdrama and Kmovies ardent fan and follower then this movie wouldn’t be giving you the ending that you might have anticipated. And don’t think otherwise too, the ending and the connecting of dots is practical and plus you won’t feel bad for anyone. Every character in the movie has been justified. It is the kind of snacks that you love to munch on for a change. This movie would offer you this if this is what you have been looking for. And who doesn’t love to have a different snack for a change.
